We envision Web Analyst as a think tank for metric-driven, non-subjective recommendations into how we can improve customer experience and make our website more efficient. Passion about working with lots of data and finding trends behind the pure numbers will make you a perfect candidate. You’ll closely collaborate on developing actionable items based on the results of your analysis with other folks on the marketing team.
 

Responsibilities:

  • Gather, interpret and report on a variety of web data, from Google Analytics and other sources.
  • Analyze web data to understand customer preferences, site usage, and trends.
  • Define and track key metrics related to business performance.
  • Proactively run research and analysis to provide insights into customer and marketing activities.
  • Analyze the effectiveness of online and email marketing campaigns.
  • Communicate with technical staff to ensure reporting and measurement systems are operating and configured properly.
  • Work with content and creative teams to execute recommendations for the content strategy based on SEO analysis.
  • Make recommendations to enhance search ROI. 


 

Required skills:

  • Bachelor of Science in a technical (Engineering, Mathematics, etc.) or economics degree strongly preferred.
  • 1+ years of relevant experience.
  • Profound knowledge in statistical methods of data analysis.
  • Familiarity with SQL, SAS and advanced Excel functionality (pivot tables, macros, VBA) is a strong plus.
  • Familiarity with online metrics and how to use them to improve marketing efforts.
  • Experience with Google Analytics or its alternatives.
  • Intermediate level of English (reading and writing skills).
