Crytek Ukraine is announcing an opening for Tools Programmer. We look for talented and ambitious people who meet the following requirements:

• 2+ years of experience with C/C++;
• experience with GUI programming;
• experience in team working with several programmers;
• strong time management skills with a proven ability to focus on priorities and solve problems;
• able to accurately assess time requirements and complexity of assigned systems;
• able to design systems thoroughly and break into manageable tasks;
• good knowledge of 3D mathematics;
• strong interpersonal skills, in particular in gathering and analysing software requirements from multiple clients.

Pluses:

• work experience in game industry;
• experience in using DCC applications (3DStudio/Maya/Photoshop/XSI/...);
• knowledge of scripting languages (Lua/Python/VBScript/...);
• understanding of image processing techniques;
• knowledge of character skinning algorithms;
• experience with multi-platform development.

Responsibilities:

• developing tools and plug-ins for a high profile game;
• responsible for completing all tasks in a timely manner and to a consistent high quality standard;
• is responsible for tasks scheduling and risk analysis;
• maintaining the CryEditor (optimizing, adding new features);
• is responsible for document source code.

Report to: Lead Programmer, Producer and Technical Director.
