Crytek Ukraine is announcing an opening for RnD Programmer CryEngine.

Requirements:

We look for talented and ambitious people who meet the following requirements:

• 2+ years professional software development experience
• experience of working on at least one shipped game for either PC or console
• strong technical background (Bachelor degree+)
• excellent understanding of:
  
  • object-oriented analysis and design
  • algorithms used in 3D games
  • visual C++ and/or the GCC programming toolset
• strong software engineering and debugging skills
• excellent problem-solving skills

Pluses:

• CryEngine programming experience
• GUI programming knowledge (preferred MFC or Win32 API)
• experience using and writing plug-ins for DCC applications (3ds, Maya, XSI, Photoshop, etc.)
• production experience using with other languages (C#, python).

Responsibilities:

• research innovative techniques to improve game production
• create and maintain modules to be used for automated testing
• contribute towards developer and end-user documentation
• provide support and training to internal/external developers
• continuing to enhance programming and communications skills
• contributing to testing procedures
• showing strong passion for making the highest quality state of the art software solutions
• safeguarding of the company’s assets including source code, art work, tools, and technical know-how.
