Requirements:

• Strong knowledge base in Cisco CRS, ASR, Nexus and 7600 series equipment. Also Cisco products such as 3750, 2901, and 2811.
• Knowledge and support for Juniper MX series routers
• F5 and Brocade Load Balancer knowledge is a plus
• Strong knowledge in IP internetworking - MPLS (MPLS VPN, TE), IP routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, ISIS), Quality of Service (QoS), IP multicast.
• Should have good knowledge of LAN switching protocols, and Security components such as VPN, Cisco ASA Firewalls, Cisco ACL and IOS based security functionality.
• Require good written and verbal communication, negotiation and presentation skills. The ability to work effectively, independently and add value as a team member is essential.
• Solid analytical skills to solve medium to complex technical problems
• Ability to learn quickly utilizing self study and instructor training.

Responsibilities:

• Resources will specialize in LAN, IP/VDX
• Resources must be able to perform network assessments, designs, implementations and migrations
• Adheres to delivery playbooks, deliverable documentation requirements
• Adheres to technical review and escalation guidelines
• Deliver projects efficiently and within scope as defined in the Statement of Work
• Escalate to project managers and management as needed
• Provide regular status reporting on projects and/or residencies
• Identify items of success and/or concern in accounts for potential escalation, especially items that fall out-of-scope
• Identify impact and additional level of effort for potential out-of-scope items
• Identify potential opportunities for new services or hardware sales
• Develop professional and technical skills in order to successfully deliver
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge on TSB’s/ISB’s that could impact their project
• Attend/review product TOI’s and documentation
• Provide pre-sales technical support of developing business initiatives
