Saratov office of Mirantis Inc. is looking for a skillful QA engineer to participate in the full cycle of development activities. The successful applicant will have an opportunity to participate in challenging projects, creation of distributed scalable applications and cloud-based services in PaaS and IaaS world. Among used technologies there are Linux, Java, Python, Selenium

Responsibilities:

• developing test-plans and test-cases for functional, load testing of cloud-based software
• manual and automatic testing of network applications using specific or/and self-implemented tools
• performance and reliability/stress testing
• creating test reports, providing recommendations to the devteam
• participating in implementing of product’s test strategy
• communications with remote teams (Russia, Ukraine, US)

Requirements:

• BS/Master degree in computer science, mathematics, physics or anything of the kind
• кey skills:
  • expertise with network protocols (HTTP, FTP, SMB…)
  • load testing experience
  • familiarity with Windows, Linux at advanced user level or above
• good skills in different types, methods and technologies of software testing
• ability to design test-plans and test-data
• ability to design manual and/or automated test-cases
• experience with virtual machines
• test automation experience and expertise with scripting languages
• written English

Would be a plus:

• knowledge of Java, Python, scripting languages
• knowledge of Chef/Puppet
• knowledge of Jenkins
• good level of spoken English and communication skills
