The successful candidate should meet the following requirements:

  • Higher education; Preferred Technical Qualifications.
  • 2+ years of overall development experience especially in Object Oriented Languages like Java/C++
  • 1+ years of Java/Android experience (Android architecture and API knowledge) and Android OS (structure, components, applications, XML Layout, knowledge in new trends and ideas in android development)
  • 2+ published Android applications, own Google play history (statistics of applications usage)
  • Strong OOP experience, Strong Web service experience
  • SQL experience including SQLite is a must
  • Passion for UI/UX design
  • Knowledge of success problem solution in multi-screen dimension graphic design
  • (Main goal is to know how to implement UI on different screens)
Understanding of android application lifecycle knowledge of:
  • java for android, multithreading
  • android development/test environment
  • android 2.x-4.x
  • android UI creating
  • android widgets
  • android services and receivers
  • HTTP-networking, web-services including secure way to connect w-s
  • Knowledge to create own data providers
  • Android security (certifications, code security, …)
  • LBS programming
  • android Map APIG-location (including other map vendors than Google)
  • telephone API (SIP, VoIP protocol/codecs/standards stack)
  • SQLite including database creation and optimization
  • Media streams processing (audio/video)

Experience using some of the following technologies:

  • Layered architecture, components and interfaces
  • Languages: C, C++, Java, Android SDK
  • XML: XML Schema, JAXB, XMLBeans and concurrent JSON
  • Development Environments: Eclispse-based, XCode, Intelij Idea
  • Middleware: MQSeries, WESB, WPS, WebSphere Portal, JBoss Portal
  • Web Servers: SunOne WS/IIS, Apache
  • Databases: Oracle, SQL Server, DB2/UDB, SQLite and stored procedures
  • Application Servers: IBM WebSphere, Oracle/BEA WebLogic, JBoss
  • Architectural Design using Visio, UML diagrams and Use Case documentation
  • Advanced Web Services Skills: SOAP, UDDI, XML, WSDL, REST
