Project Description:
Enterprise application for Listed Derivatives Client Clearing. Development and support of the applications for the investment bank.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Plan and perform production release update 
  • Configure application environment 
  • Deploy new version of components 
  • Keep application up and running 
  • Proactively work on environment problems, proposing new solutions of how to make it more stable 
  • Communication with collocated / remote developers team 
  • Communication with production support / support production releases 
  • Investigate application problems, that causes environment be down 
  • Configuration changes 
  • Develop release procedures for new application, educate other teams on how the process works
 
Skills Required:
  • Communication skills 
  • System administration 
  • Networking 
  • Good technology background: Windows, Unix shell 
  • SQL 
  • Bash/perl scripting is a big plus
