Our partner, international R&D center now opens opportunity for Senior Software Engineer in St Petersburg branch.

In this role you will be a part of international Group that:

  • Engage in the design, implementation and deployment phases of our SDLC. 
  • Design and implement new features for Reporting & Analytics product line.
  • Extend and support existing products. Perform code reviews. 
  • Perform development, unit testing, and application testing individually and in collaboration with the team. 
  • Manage versioning of code assets in a repository. 
  • Implement automated tests to validate product functionality. 
  • Support problem resolution efforts by responding to inquiries from others regarding errors, problems, or questions about applications. 
  • Research and evaluate software (including open source libraries and 3rd party products) for inclusion in the development process. 
  • Document application design, implementation, and repair decisions. 
  • Communicate status to team members and manager.    

Education:            
  • Required:  B.S. in Computer Science or related engineering field  
  • Desired: M.S. Computer Science 
 
 
Skills and Experience Essential:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, related discipline 
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Object Orientated concepts and design 
  • Five (or more) years of C++ programming experience 
  • Windows application development experience 
  • MFC experience 
  • Familiarity with Visual Studio (2008 or later) 
  • ATL/ActiveX     
 Desired:   
  • Experience with agile development practices (i.e. daily scrum, sprints, burn down, etc.) 
  • Familiarity with design patterns, re-factoring 
  • Development Tools: Code Collaborator, ClearCase, Jenkins
