Responsibility:

  • Engage with customers and lead engagements to consultatively develop a new analytical models based on business requirements
  • Lead and manage project based analytical engagements with distributed international teams
  • Expertise in CRM analytics (churn, upsell/cross sell, lifetime value based segmentation) for subscription based customer engagement in telecom, wireless, media and understanding of Marketing Campaign analytics and CRM analytics in B2C domain OR Expertise in Fraud analytics, operational and marketing analytics, in financial services
  • Experience managing and operating analytics models, measuring performance of the models, tuning and improving the models
  • Ability to manage, QA and junior analysts while delivering analytical services

Desired Experience

  • 10+ years experience developing analytical models, troubleshooting, and training business users on efficient and appropriate use. 
  • In depth knowledge of forecasting algorithms, linear and logistic regression, neural networks, decision trees, inferential, and descriptive statistics.
  • Ability to perform regression analysis, clustering, segmentation, behavioral profiling, market basket analysis of consumer demographic data and customer account data using SAS and/or R
    • Experience with Base SAS, SAS Enterprise Guide, SAS OLAP, SAS macros/programming, and/or
    • Experience with R statistical package
  • Experience working with VBA, SQL, and most Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Access, Powerpoint, Outlook)
  • Experience with tools like Tableau, Spotfire, geographic information systems (GIS) and mapping software (MapInfo 9.5 and ArcView 9.2)
  • Experience necessary for solving key business issues, strategic planning, making recommendations, increasing efficiency, and presenting results to management and clients
  • Demonstrated effective interpretation and communication of complex data to wide audiences including executive management
  • Ability to define projects, manage multiple projects, manage a project team of data analysts, data scientists and statisticians
  • Demonstrated ability to problem solve and design new models including data analysis and transformation, selection of algorithms, SQL coding, data extraction, analysis methodologies, and automation of processes
  • Demonstrated experience analyzing large data sets to gain greater understanding into the data and “tell the story” models.
  • Knowledge of RDBMS like Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata etc.
  • Domain experience in advance analytics in Telecom/Media, Consumer Products/Electronics or Financial Services
  • Higher Education degree in Mathematics or Statistics
