Responsibilities:

  • To Provide Level 2 technical support within the operators of Wireless Core Networks;
  • To provide on-site and remote support during software upgrades and network change.

Requirements:

  • High technical education: communications, IT;
  • Work experience: 2+ years of work experience in the telecommunication industry (operator or vendor) specifically in the area of Wireless Core Network deployment, operations or System Support;
  • Solid understanding of Wireless Core Networking Architecture of GSM and WCDMA to include circuit switching system, Mobile Soft Switch, Media Gateway, HLR, Network Management System, IMS;
  • Good Understanding of Operations and Maintenance (O&M) procedures and Troubleshooting techniques;
  • Must demonstrate knowledge of general Telecommunications standards and protocols including: Unix OS, SIP, SS7, TCP/IP, UDP, RTP, Frame Relay, ATM,VLAN;
  • Self motivated and eager to learn new evolutions, technologies etc.
