Auriga, Inc, a successful IT-consulting company headquartered in the U.S., one of the market leaders in technology outsourcing from Russia, is looking for Customer Support Engineer in Nizhny Novgorod.


Project Description:

Our Customer is a Revolution in Material Handling Systems, which created an innovative order fulfillment system. Today, it applies the concepts of "distributed intelligence" to order fulfillment and inventory management using break through material handling systems and order fulfillment software. It allows inventory to organize itself, adapting to conditions as they change. The resulting solution combines store, move and sort functions into one simple system that can now deliver any item to any operator at any time.


Responsibilities:

  • Providing support for customers installations on critical software, server and network issues
  • Documenting software issues and their resolution
  • Case management of customer issues
  • Managing the software upgrade process on behalf of customers and Kiva
  • Establishing a testing and configuration management process
  • Communicating effectively with both the Kiva field personnel as well as the Kiva internal Product teams
  • Automating processes for field personnel whenever possible
  • Scheduling and coordinating system software, server, and network upgrades  
  • Identifying potential system improvements and enhancements to achieve customer objectives
  • Interacting with customer personnel and keeping them informed of changes in issue status as resolution progresses

Job Requirements:

  • Fluent English
  • In understanding and experience with:  LINUX,  Networking (TCP/IP),  XML, SQL, Server Clusters, Windows XP Professional is a plus;
  • Demonstrated ability and/or experience in a customer support role within a technology company with a large installed product base;
  • Ability to perform under pressure and with short deadlines;
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team.
