Mirantis Inc. company is looking for Deployment Engineer, who will be working in software development projects in the BigData/PaaS/IaaS areas. An ideal candidate must have a solid background in system administration (*nix, Windows, MacOS), deployment, automation of deployment, willingness and readiness to learn different BigData/PaaS/IaaS tools and frameworks, passion to design highly scalable and fault tolerant distributed systems and solve challenging design and architecture problems. You will be challenged to deliver innovative and effective solutions. The candidate should be ready to travel on-site periodically.

 Job description:

• Installation, configuration and maintenance of the software packages
• System administration (*nix)
• Automation of deployment of the software packages
• Communications with remote teams (Russia, Ukraine, US)

 Requirements:

• BS/Master degree in computer science/mathematics/related
• Deep knowledge and experience of administration of Linux/Unix/Windows
• Knowledge of TCP/IP networks and infrastructure
• Knowledge and experience in scripting languages (Perl, Python, bash и т.п.)
• Written English

Would be a plus:

• Knowledge of Java/Python/Ruby
• Experience with Chef/Puppet
• Experience with Hadoop (Map-Reduce), Cassandra (NoSQL databases)
• Experience with Jenkins (other CI/CD tools)
• Spoken English
