The US-based technology company  is seeking for Senior Technical Support Engineer in Windows IT Infrastructure Management. The company develops and sells software solutions for IT departments of enterprises.

The successful candidate will work within a team of support engineers focused on resolving our customers’ technical issues. As a representative of the second level of support, you will have to investigate complex issues, which first level was unable to resolve. Generally, in this position you will not have a direct contact with clients, but rather pass your findings on and make recommendations to the first level engineer via ticketing system, email, etc.

Responsibilities:

• Handle support tickets, control tickets assigned to you on all levels of suppor
• Participate in online meetings with 1^st level engineers and customers
• Replicate and analyze customers’ issues in the test environment
• Write knowledge base articles and utilize other methods of knowledge sharing

Basic Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of experience in technical support or system administration
• Upper Intermediate or higher level of Englis
• Experience in administering Windows Server 2008/R2, 2003, Windows
  
• Solid knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory and Group Policy
• Knowledge of one or more of the following: Exchange Server, SQL Server, IIS, Virtualization

Preferred Qualifications:

• Leadership skills or experience, such as technical mentoring for 1 year or more
• Microsoft Certificates in related areas would be a plus
