Enkata Technologies is looking for QA Director to develop and manage QA teams, define QA strategy across the SW Development Lifecycle. In this role, you will be leading, mentoring and motivating a worldwide QA team in preparation, execution and analysis of test plans, test cases and test cycles. You will be driving the continuous improvement of the QA process, estimating QA resources and timelines, acting as the primary interface for quality functions, and proactively evaluating new QA technology.
 
Required skills sets:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
• Ability to lead and manage multiple and distributed QA teams
• 5+ years QA experience, in leading roles;
• Solid knowledge and experience working in an agile software development environment
• Solid knowledge of QA methodologies, testing processes and tools;
• Practical experience in testing strategy development for complex software systems;
• Practical experience in testing/QA SaaS or cloud based solutions;
• Experience in automated and performance testing for concurrent user access software;
• Knowledge of DB concepts, SQL language, object-oriented programming languages (Java or C++);
• Knowledge of scripting languages (PHP, Perl or Powershell);
• Project management skills, experience in managing teams would be a benefit;
• Business driven approach, ability to communicate with a customer efficiently.

 
Responsibilities:

• Owning, developing and communicating QA standards, procedures and strategy for entire company product portfolio;
• Generate high-level QA goals/objectives for multiple small QA team aligned with Quality, Business, and Development objectives, with action plans and benchmarks to measure progress
• Ensuring quality during entire product lifecycle;
• Define and collaborate with Product Development leadership, QA product roadmaps to align with product development roadmaps, and high-level release test strategies
• Implement, gather, and report iteration and production Quality metrics which demonstrate business value and show continuous improvement of QA processes
• Adoption, design and development of automated testing frameworks;
• Planning of software testing, owning QA plans for development and implementation projects;
• Review and quality assurance of software specifications;
• Managing small QA teams (2-4 people).
• Build positive cross-product and cross-functional team relationships
• Maintain a collaborative, fun and productive working environment
• Participate in QA process improvement initiatives and cross-team/company activities
