Position Finality
Provide a professional and high quality support for Business applications like WMS and all related systems. Daily activities include supporting, research, testing, evaluation, development, implementation and troubleshooting, training and analysis of Business related systems and processes. Responsible for the 1st and 2nd line of Business Applications Support, which serves as the first point of contact for issues and change requests in Business related systems used in all Russian company offices.
To act as a backup for BA Analyst or IT Infrastructure Specialist when needed: providing end-user support, consulting, which includes technologies such as PC hardware and software, peripherals, PDAs, video and teleconferencing systems, faxing options, telephone system, remote access services, etc. for both users of Russian Offices and for users from vendor companies as well. Provide 1st level support on local network and assisting IT infrastructure support specialist when necessary.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
- To be responsible for the 1st and 2nd line Business Applications Support such as WMS RedPraire, KLASS-X, OMS AS400, JDE, WebMethods, 1С, related business processes and systems (local finance, custom clearance, supply chain and inventory applications)
- To be responsible for WMS Report System designing, maintaining, improving, testing.
Contacts:
- To documen application functionalities, procedures, request and solutions
- To dispatch issues to appropriate service teams within ABG/Amway organization or vendors
- To be 1st level support on service desk together with ICT team members (use Remedy as the main Incident Management tool)
- To be Back-up person for IT infrastructure support (LAN, WAN, servers monitoring and backup)
- To be Back-up person for daily end-user support (standard desktop hardware and applications, servers and LAN)
- To comply with appropriate use of ICT resources and services in accordance with corporate procedures and rules. Apply all necessary protection methods to keep company sensitive information consistent, confident and accessible for authorized employees.
- To comply with Personal Data Protection rules and procedures related to confidential information processing.
- To regulate and comply with rules related to emergency situations when IT Security Policies are violated
- To inform company management about unauthorized and illegal actions which violate IT Security Policies
Experience, Qualifications and Personal Skills
- All ICT Divisions and teams in company offices in
Europe and US - All Amway ICT Divisions and teams in company offices all around the Globe
- Telecommunication Companies, which provide telecom services in
and abroadRussia - Suppliers, Vendors and Outsourcing Companies in
and abroadRussia - Higher education in Mathematics, Computer Since, Information Technologies
- Working level of English
- Additional courses in IT subject is a plus (certifications, trainings)
- Minimum of two years experience in Information Technologies
- Good knowledge in SQL query and DB administration (MS, Oracle)
- Experience in report design
- Experience in testing and implementation of new business applications and IT infrastructure
- Basic knowledge of current LAN /WAN technologies, operating systems and applications such as MS Windows Server 2008, MS Windows XP/7, MS Office, Lotus Notes, AntiVirus systems
- To be familiar with standard IT equipment (desktops, notebooks, printers, mobile PCs, PDAs, mobile phones, wireless devices)
- Experience in logistics industry is a plus
- Experience in support WMS systems is a plus
- Basic IT Security knowledge, including Personal Data Protection domestic legislation
- Knowledge of ITIL procedures and methods is a plus
- Be able to train end-users on systems and tools
- Good analytical skills
- A team player in an international IСT team
- Good communication skills, service orientated
- Able to ”translate” IT specific details and verbs in user “language”
- Good oral and written English – Upper-Intermediate level
- Continue to develop technical skills (additional training in and outside work hours)
- Ability to work under pressure and set priorities
- To be ready for travelling (passport for foreign trips required)
