Working on behalf  of the market leader in ruggedized mobile computing, this position is for  a  Sales Engineer/Presales Consultant for Russia.

This is a fantastic  opportunity to join a market leading organisation.   The successful candidate will be required to  provide full technical support to the local sales team and their customers to  ensure the continued growth of their Russian business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Attend pre sales meetings with customers to support  business managers during negotiations
• Build successful and maintain long term client  relationships
• Possess excellent interpersonal and communication  skills to liaise with both internal engineering and external customers
• Ability to deliver information effectively through  documentation and presentations
• Demonstrate ability to prioritise and complete  multiple tasks concurrently in a fast paced environment
• Assist with the engineering element of RFI, RFQ and  ITT responses
• Provide efficient management of third party vendors  to ensure compatibility of solutions
• Technical  knowledge to include Windows OS and Wireless Communications
• Successful  candidate should have a proven track record in technical account management
• Provide pre sales support and training to customers during testing, trial and deployment
• Provide  post-sales support to customer, both on–site and via email and telephone
• Become a  technical expert with designated sectors and fully understand any application  complexities
• Resolve  complex problems for customers and assist them in interfacing equipment with  networks, third party equipment, wireless solutions and application software

Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required:

The candidate appointed  to this position is likely to have worked in the IT environment in a similar  type of customer facing role.   Candidates must therefore be able to demonstrate the following:

• Excellent knowledge of Windows operating systems – XP and Vista and Windows 7
• o    Linux/Android would be an advantage – but not  essential
• Excellent knowledge of wireless networks and  communication technologies such as HSPDA, wireless LAN, Bluetooth
• Knowledge of barcode readers, GPS and RFID  technologies would be advantageous, but not essential
• Appreciation of server side technologies such as  Windows 2008 Server Active Directory, Group policy and LDAP would be helpful
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Fluent English and Russian essential
• Must be comfortable presenting to customers
• Will ideally have experience in similar role  working in technology
• This is a field based role so candidates must be  prepared for significant travel
