Tobii is a growing company that develops eye tracking products for researchers, people with disabilities, interaction designers and advertising agencies.

Tobii Assistive Technology (AT) is a division within Tobii that is focusing on products based on eye tracking for people with communication disabilities and/or physical handicaps. Their software opens up new possibilities for people to communicate either through verbal speech based on computer generated voice or via Internet-based technology.

Tobii AT’s R&D branch in Bergen, Norway is looking to expand its development team in Kiev.

Software Development within Tobii As a developer in Tobii you will be using the latest Microsoft technologies in combination with modern tools to obtain the most efficient working environment. We strive for loose coupling, maintainability, testability and extensibility. We work in small effective and agile project groups (3-5 persons), often closely together with a Norwegian team members and project leader.

Job Description The role requires an individual that is a team player and enjoys the success of a team delivery. You are expected to take an active role with great responsibility throughout the entire development project, from feasibility study, requirements, design, architecture and implementation work, to validation and deployment. You will work in an agile environment since our projects are highly dynamic and the final products sometimes differ from the original specifications.

Basic Qualifications

• A university or Master degree in Computer Engineering or equivalent
• At least 2 years professional experience as a programmer with .NET/C# experience
• Strong knowledge in OOA/D and SOLID principles and accustomed to TDD (Test Driven Design)
• Good skills in English, both verbally and in writing
• Team player who see the value of good communication with teammates

Experience from one or several of the following areas are qualifying

• Experience in development of desktop applications for Windows
• Database development using SQL
• Knowledge of Dependency injection concepts
• Working in agile teams
• Win32 and/or COM programming
• Experience with C++/MFC
• Assistive Technologies
• Word completion or autocorrect features
