EPAM Systems (www.epam.com), one of the largest Software Engineering Services Companies in European IT market, CMMI Level 4 certified, is looking for Senior Python Developer

for its Lviv Office.

Description:

The project is a reboot/redeployment of world-famous news agency site (30-40 mln. users).

The goal for this team is to build a new API based on Python, a scalable one, scalable on demand up and down.

The final focus is on the website - to keep users they have and attract others by better interface etc. Integrate with common services: mailing lists, iLogin; 3rd party tools etc. The customer is looking for people who want to ship a great API for web and for mobile.

They use a Python core and a proprietary framework on top of it, mongo db, heavily use amazon webstack; all on Unix Ubuntu.

Requirements:

·       Python, REST/JSON, MongoDB, Unix

·       good spoken/written English

·       excellent communication skills,

·       self-management

·       ability to lead the team

As a plus:

·       Some Unix shell/perl scripting, some SQL, Puppet, Elastic-cloud
