Align Technology, Inc. is looking for a Database administrator SQL:

Responsibilities:

• Ensure systems uptime
• Implement, upgrade and enhance cost-effective fault-tolerant database infrastructure
• Analyze system performance. Establish and uphold performance metrics for the system as whole and key business applications in particular
• Fine-tune the databases to match application requirements
• Work closely with software vendors to ensure continual support of systems. Oversee system projects by working with internal business units and consultants
• Provide database support and maintenance. Support user’s requests in relation to system problems and requests for enhancements 

 
Requirements:

• BA degree in a design-related field, spoken and written English 
• Solid background in Microsoft SQL server, adhoc SQL queries, log shipping and stored procedures, Disaster recovery
• 2+ years experience as a DBA in a fast paced, high growth, technology and intensive environment
