Helios Technologies is a fast growing company, and due to our expansion, we are looking for a talented Ruby on Rails and JavaScript Developer to join our team in Kiev.

Personal requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science is a minimal requirement; other fields of study are acceptable when combined with a strong background or work experience
• Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills
• Ability to express thoughts clearly both verbally and on a paper
• Experience with diagramming and graphics editing software would be a plus
• Curiosity of the last trends of the web
• Strong written and conversation English is a must

Technical requirements:

• OOP
• Ruby, Ruby on Rails
• JavaScript

Is a plus to have some knowledge in the following technologies:

• Knowledge of a Javascript framework (like ExtJS, jQuery,...)
• AMQP
• Some knowledge of NoSQL concepts
• HADOOP, Cassandra, HBASE, Map&Reduce
• GNU/Linux(Ubuntu, Fedora, Archlinux)
• SCM: Git
