Job Description

Join a brand new project to develop an infrastructure for continuous integration, testing and deployment of one of the largest Hadoop clusters in the world, processing 100 Billion events per day. Become a core member of the engineering team working on development and white box testing of Apache Hadoop project and related projects including Hive, Pig and HBase. Work side by side with our clients, major Apache Hadoop contributors. A unique opportunity for skilled and passionate engineers to contribute to one of the strongest open source communities, collaborate with Hadoop creators and learn what it takes to develop world’s largest distributed system. For Quality Engineers, it also an excellent opportunity to improve Java programming skills by working on advanced unit testing.

Required Skills and Experience

• Experience with Java SE
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related field
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and intellectual curiosity
• Good interpersonal and communication skills

• Hands-on experience with Linux and bash scripting 
• Experience with CI tools (Jenkins, maven, git, SVN)
