Professional Services has departments in Amsterdam, New York and San Jose. Building a Professional Services team in the Ukraine is our next goal. Therefore, we are looking for an experienced Technical Consultant in Kiev, Ukraine.
 
Role and Responsibilities
The Technical Consultant advises and supports customers and partners in the development of complex interactive solutions using SDL WCM Solutions Content Management Software and/or the other products and services from SDL WCMS ’s product portfolio.
 
· Translate customer requirements into technical solutions;
· Develop and implement web content management solutions;
· Assist clients or partners in implementing web content management solutions;
· Communicate directly with clients or partners, gathering requirements, providing project status updates testing and conducting quality assurance;
· Train clients and partners in the use of SDL WCMS products;
· This position is expected to be 69% billable on client engagements (US, UAE).
 
Skills, Experience and Personality
· Minimum of 3 years experience in client-facing technical consulting, developing and implementing complex solutions using Internet and web technology;
· Experience with front-end Java development (JSP, JSTL);
· Experience with front and back end .NET development (C#) , XML and XSLT knowledge are useful;
· (Preferably) experience in one or more of the following Web Content Management products:
SDL WCMS – SiteCore – Vignette – Fatwire – Day – Joomla - Sharepoint;
· Excellent communicator, including presentations and training;
· Able to speak and write English fluently;
· Able to work independently with minimal supervision;
· Willingness to travel up to 50%;
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
