PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES:

• SAP Custom Development’s purpose is to  deliver business  solutions for unique business needs. Its mission to be agile, innovative and flexible in providing high quality, supportable solutions for the unique requirements of our customers. The department consists of more than 20 nationalities representing. SAP CD main office is located in Germany, there are also big offices in US, India and many other smaller offices across the globe.Kiev Development Department  is a development unit  within the SAP CD. The department language is English. 

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS:

• The successful candidate will be responsible for working within a team of developers implementing new features, enhancements, and error corrections to existing software applications.  He or she should be familiar with concepts of software development methodology including requirements gathering, high-level design, detailed design, detailed specifications, unit testing and integrated testing.  He or she should understand relational database concepts and should also be able to work with team members of other disciplines within an integrated software development organization, including QA and end-user documentation personnel.  This individual should have good interpersonal skills, good communications skills, be able to work independently on assignments to completion, be able to perform to schedule, and be able to balance multiple assignments.       

WORK EXPERIENCE:

We would expect you to meet most of the skills and competencies mentioned below, nevertheless some could be optional.

• 2+ years experience in Tcl/Tk
• 1+ year experience in C, C++, or other 4GL or mainframe language.
• 2+ year experience in J2EE
• Oracle(10g, 11g) experience in Windows & UNIX environments.  

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS/ SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:

• Degree in computer science.
• Very good powers of comprehension and high quality commitment.
• Willingness to quickly acquire understanding in new areas.
• Good English skills - oral and written.
• Constructive and open style of communication.
• Flexibility when dealing with other mentalities and cultures.
• Willingness to travel (occasionally).
