Responsibilities:

• Work in QA position with the development team, responsible for delivery of internal and external corporate web sites
• Review and analyze functional requirements, identify and correct gaps and inconsistencies
• Design and generate test data, develop and execute test plans, test cases based upon functional and design specifications
• Analyze test results and perform root cause analysis

Requirements:

• Deep understanding of software testing methodology and best practices
• IT or computer science background
• Knowledge of usage and administration of Unix-based OS (bash / ssh / ps / grep etc…)
• Up to speed with modern software engineering: version control systems, issue tracking, build-systems, continuous integration, wiki, etc.
• Communication skills and good knowledge of English, written and spoken
• Ability to work in a team

A strong plus would be:

• Experience with QA automation tools for web applications: FitNesse, Selenium or analogs
• Practical experience with at least one of the main scripting languages (python, ruby, perl)
• Good understanding of databases, working knowledge of SQL
