Grid Dynamics team in St-Petersburg is continuously looking for bright minded active Software developers to reinforce our current and future projects.

Responsibilities:

●      participation in development and architecture of innovative software deployment tool

●      work in disturbed team by agile methodology

●      collaboration with internal and external customers

●      participation in initiation of open-source community around the invented technology and further collaboration with open-source community participating in decision making regarding architecture and technology evolution direction

Mandatory requirements:

●      deep understanding of Java platform (collections, concurrency, etc ) and JVM internals (memory model, GC, etc ) 

●      experience with Java technology stack preferably Spring technology stack, H2, SLF4J

●      experience with RESTful-based and WSDL-based Web Services

●      excellent understanding of diverse data bases (Relational DB, NoSQL DB)

●      excellent understanding of application testing, experience with JUnit or TestNG

●      experience with software project management tools (Maven, Gradle)

●      at least basic experience with Scala, Groovy and desire to learn and work with these languages

●      excellent understanding of OOP, aspect, functional programming paradigms 

●      experience with Linux/Unix, good knowledge of core utilities (ps, top, grep, sed, less, vi, ssh, etc) and at least basic knowledge of scripting languages  (shell, bash, kshell, etc.)

●      good understanding of networking (TCP/IP, UDP, HTTP, VPN, Firewall, etc) 

●      strong understanding of Continues Integration and Continuous Delivery    

Desired requirements:

●      strong knowledge and experience with Scala, Akka, Groovy

●      experience in Web UI front-end development (SpringMVC, Lift, JavaScript, JQuery, ExtJS) 

●      experience with private/public clouds (Amazon, GoGrid, OpenStack, VMWare Cloud)

●      strong understanding of agile development process and work experience in agile projects
