Senior / Middle C++ Developer (Barclays)

EPAM Systems (www.epam.com), one of the largest Software Engineering Services Companies in European IT market, CMMI Level 4 certified, is looking for Senior / Middle C++ Developer for its Kyiv Office.

Department Overview The CRT Technology group, within the Enterprise Solutions Technology (EST) department, is responsible for firm-wide Derivatives Counterparty risk driven Trade Pricing, Risk Management and Hedging, Billing Processes and Risk Reporting for the CRT Trading desks globally. 

Main Function  Design, develop and support software across the CRT application stack.

Main Duties:

• Design, development and maintenance of infrastructure support software. Examples include instrumentation and monitoring tools, feeds technology and reporting software.
• Analysis of the current system and alternative solutions across EST and Barclays with a view to future changes.

Skills & experience required:

• STRONG C++, STL, MULTITHREADING.
• Practical understanding of the software lifecycle and of development best practices.
• Good software development background (3-4 years of experience) using an OO development environment.
• Ability to write high quality code in a team environment.
• Ability to communicate to technical and non-technical colleagues.
• GOOD VERBAL AND WRITTEN ENGLISH SKILLS.

Desirable skills & experience:

• Experience in working with boost, C#, COM/DCOM, XML/XSLT, Python.
• Experience in working with MSSQL Server. Experience in writing stored procedures.
• Willingness to work on challenging tasks, to grow professionally and to master own skills will be a plus.
• Investment banking knowledge will be a plus.
