HP Russia announces an exciting opportunity for Software Build and Version Control Specialist!

Description:

Develops and manages a product build infrastructure. Manages a Source Control System. Using current programming language and technologies, writes code, completes programming, and performs testing and debugging of applications. Completes documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance. May interact with users to define system requirements and/or necessary modifications.

Responsibilities:

• Developing and managing a product build infrastructure; applying the continuous integration process;
• Developing and managing a patch build infrastructure;
• Managing and enhancing a Source Control System;
• Designing enhancements, updates, and programming changes for portions and subsystems of end-user applications software running on networked platforms.
• Introducing new technologies and techniques. Being able to compare, argument, and convince about the chosen instruments/tools/techniques.

·         Interacting with software divisions, consulting groups, end users etc in Russia and world-wide;

• Provides guidance and mentoring to less-experienced staff members

Desired Skills & Experience

(Mandatory)

• Deep knowledge of Software Product Development Life-cycle, Software Release Life-cycle, Software Configuration Management and Software Development Methodologies
• Software Build Automation  (2-3 years' experience)
• Advanced Java (2-3 years' experience)
• Java Core libraries, Multithreading, Networking
• Rational ClearCase
• Unix Shell scripting
• Perl
• Apache Ant and Maven
• Continuous Integration process and tools (any)
• Advanced level of English and excellent communication skills
