Responsibilities: 
 
  • Work inside the team of software engineers 
  • Collaboration with distributed team of developers, testers, analysts (Moscow, Kharkov, 
  • San-Francisco) 
  • Take part in team activities 
  • Constantly improve professional and communication skills 
 
Requirements: 

  • Experience in Unix/Linux OS administration 
  • Setting up and configuring common services experience: web (Apache), ftp, mail servers. 
  • Knowledge of common Unix command line tools 
  • General knowledge of Linux architecture 
  • Understanding of general programming concepts 
  • Desire and ability for quick learning of new tools and technologies 
  • Good communication skills and technical English 
 
Desired: 
 
  • Experience in shell scripting; knowledge of coreutils tools. 
  • Version control systems: Subversion/CVS/Git. 
  • Experience in scripting on any of Ruby, Python, Perl etc. 
  • Network administration, network protocols knowledge (TCP/IP, SSH, FTP, HTTP, DNS, 
  • SMTP), firewall configuration as a plus
