Description
  • In this position, you will be working with researchers of the Intel Labs Saint-Petersburg identifying key research areas, defining research studies, generating innovative ideas, analyzing their potential, and suggesting possible solutions in the digital signal processing domain.
  • You will also be contributing to scientific literature and conferences and participating in development of intellectual property as well as working with other researchers at Intel and outside. 
 
Qualifications
  • You should be a day student pursuing a Master or PhD degree in the computer science domain, physics or mathematics (pls, include graduation date in your CV) with specific topic of interest and solid theoretical background in the digital signal processing field.
  • You should also possess some practical experience in programming (C/C++) and algorithm/model development (Matlab or alternative). Would also consider candidates with RTL design/DSP skill mix.
  • Mandatory qualifications:
    • solid knowledge of the digital signal processing field
    • experience with Matlab/Maple/Mathematica (at least one)
    • good C/C++ (or basic VHDL/Verilog)
    • advanced English (a must: able to read technical specs/papers in volumes and effectively communicate by mail)
    • excellent communication skills
  • Desirable additional qualifications:
    • scripting (shell, Perl)
    • make, ld scripts
    • profiling/optimization experience
    • team development experience (version control, code documenting, etc.)

Part-time employment is possible for postgraduate students with matching research topics. Preference to technical and creative individuals, highly-motivated to study and grow personal skills as part of the skillful international research team.
