On behalf of Playtech Ciklum is looking for a Quality assurance team leader for Kiosk and Agent System.

Playtech Ltd is a gaming software development company founded in 1999. The company provides software for online casinos, online poker rooms, online bingo games, online sports betting, scratch games, mobile gaming, live dealer games and fixed-odds arcade games online. As the world’s largest publicity-traded online gaming software supplier, PlayTech offers cutting-edge, value-added solutions to the industry’s leading operators.

Kiosks and Agent System is web based application; the main goal of it is to manage large networks of small gambling kiosks (LAN network setup for gambling) designed to let clients play for cash.

The product is already “big” and “live” for years with plenty of dependencies on other UMS projects.

At this moment a product maintains is moving to the Kiev office and will be supported by independent developer’s team. So we need a person in this team who will be responsible for the product quality assurance.

Responsibility Areas

• Work closely with product team to review requirements/design for testability and develop a test approach.
• Work closely with Development in testing and resolving issues
• Create testing-related documentation, including test plans, test cases/scripts, and bug reports assessing quality and associated risk
• Identify, track, and follow through on issues and defects
• Manage scope and priorities to complete testing efforts on time.
• Identify areas ideal for automation and automate regression, functional and sanity tests
• Perform all aspects of verification, including functional, structural, regression, stress, stability and system testing
• Document, troubleshoot and isolate problems encountered during testing
• Lead and mentor QA team members
• Prioritize and assign tasks to the team
• Ensure effective collaboration between QA and other teams on the project

Qualifications

• Quality assurance of consumer-facing web applications with at least 3 years of QA experience
• Knowledge of QA methodologies:  unit testing, integration testing, regression testing, user interface and automated testing.
• Expert skills with QA test design and execution.
• Experience with automated testing tools
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
• Familiarity with bug tracking JIRA, reporting, and verification tools and processes

Beneficial skills

• Knowledge with VMWARE, HTML, JavaScript
• Experience with PHP, SQL.
• Experience with Selenium.
• Knowledge of Linux, bash (shell)
