Our client, an international company, is looking for a System administrator.

Tasks will include:

• Setting up physical and virtual servers running various open-sourceprojects/proprietary systems
• System modeling and debugging with developers (Ubuntu / Open Indianaat the moment)
• User role management
• Implementation of corporate e-mail / web / vpn / file servers(samba/nfs) for a mix of windows and linux based clients
• Coordination of project implementation with national data-center

Requirements:

• Primary experience (5+ years) in Unix/Unix like systems, with emphasis of Solaris/OpenIndiana or BSD variants, strong knowledge of Linux (Ubuntu/Suse/Red-Hat) is a great plus.
• Strong knowledge of open source virtualization is essential: Solaris Zones/ ZEN / KVM / VirtualBox
• Thorough knowledge of TCP/IP stack and excellent understanding of processes/daemons including proper security configurations for running services.
• Excellent knowledge of secure configurations for apache/postgresql/vpn/ftp/ssh/rdp/nfs/smbfs various mail systems and other protocols.
• Excellence in user role management.
• Ability to diagnose, defend and prevent medium level DoS, and other targeted attacks.
• Some experience with MS windows server/desktop systems is required, 3 years preferred, as we have to interact with various windows based clients/servers Intermediate English Based on experience provide guidance in selecting and maintaining theprojects based on stable and alive code.
• Have a good understanding of the difference between production anddevelopment systems
• Cooperative attitude towards developers and users
• Ability to plan, coordinate and consult on system architecture issues
