Currently Ciklum is looking for Windows RT/8 Developer to join our Kiev team.

 About project:

• Our client is a free-to-play social games developer for Android and Facebook.
• They  specialize in multi-platform social game experiences in the cards, casino and board game category and are best known for our Android Poker Pro  app. The studio’s games mainly use in-app purchases of virtual good for monetization. Our products are frequently the top ranked applications on Android’s Google Play, and have over 12 million installs with more than 2 million monthly active players.
• Recently, our client  got the new funding which will be used to expand the portfolio of games on Android and Facebook, launch games on iOS, growth the current team, as well as penetrate the Asian market.

Requirements:

The successful candidate will also have a BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline, minimum of 3+ years developing rich product features and functionality, UI design and implementation skills, excellent design and coding skills, with proficiency in C++, COM, DirectX, XAML/HTML, XBOX development and strong debugging, troubleshooting, and diagnostic skills. It is preferred that the candidate also have track record of delivering products, features and functionality on schedule, at high quality, knowledge of modern design patterns and unit-testing techniques, strong collaboration and communication skills, both written and verbal, demonstrated experience owning and architecting a mid-large sized feature area.

• Bachelor or master in computer science or equivalent
• 2+ years professional C# development
• 2+ years professional C++ development
• Experience in developing using .NET environment and Visual Studio
• Excellent design and coding skills, with proficiency in DirectX, XAML/HTML
• Knowledge of at least 1 of the following skill sets, including development for emerging technologies, such as Microsoft Surface, XBox Kinect, Unity3D, Unreal, CryENGINE, XNA or any card and board games
• Excellent knowledge of Windows Phone Windows RT development
• Good knowledge of Windows Phone 7 development
• Experience in cocos2d-x – advantage
• Experience in Objective-C  and Java – advantage
• Former Game development – advantage
• Great Team Player
