Expanding joined Mirantis and Numerix Product Development Center in St.-Petersburg, we have an open position for a C++ Developer.

Numerix is the leading independent analytics provider for derivatives and structured products, enabling the structuring, pre-trade pricing, valuation and management of even the most complex deals, portfolios and associated risks.

Among our clients and partners are both governmental financial institutions and private companies (e.g. US Treasury, World Bank, European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, Bloomberg, Reuters, MetLife, AIG, etc.). Founded in 1996, Numerix has offices in the major financial centers worldwide (New York, London, Tokyo, Hong Kong, Singapore, Sydney, Dubai etc.) and has been grown steadily for the last several years.
 

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Development in C++ in one or several modules of our product;
• Refactoring and optimization of existing C++ code;
• Participation in discussions of product architecture and design;
• Communication with other development/analytic teams.

Experience and Skills Required:

• Solid expertise in C++, OOP. Ability to produce reliable and effective platform-independent code;
• Hands-on experience with design patterns, code refactoring and optimization;
• Strong development background on large projects;
• Knowledge of XML, XLS formats. Excel and VBA programming experience is a plus;
• Written English skills for business correspondence and reporting;
• University degree in Computer Science or in a scientific discipline with mathematical content;
• Knowledge of financial math, statistics, parallel computing is a strong plus;
• Personal qualities: a good team player with strong problem solving skills, the ability to learn, responsibility.
