Skelia invites Senior Java Developer (ref: PRS-JV-DV01) for long-term and full-time employment at its service center in Lviv, Ukraine.
You will have the opportunity to be a part of the extension team of a big Benelux media company.

YOUR PROFILE:

• Higher education in computer science/technical field
• 4+ full years of experience with Java
• Strong OOA & OOD skills
• High level of expertise with Java, J2EE, SQL, and ERD modelling
• Good knowledge of Hibernate/JPA, Spring (Core, MVC, Webflow)
• Experience with JUnit, Maven, Jira, Subversion, Artifactory or similar
• Web technologies understanding
• Experience in Search Engine, e.g. Lucene/SOLR is a plus
• Knowledge of Oracle database specifics and Stored Procedures is a plus
• Knowledge of Unix is a plus
• Good analytical skills
• Team spirit and sense of humour are important
• You are autonomous, result-oriented, proactive, and adaptive
• You have good base for leadership ability
• You have good level of written and spoken English

YOUR MISSION
The development will relate to the core functionalities of Customer in-house developed CMS. For this reason, an intensive knowledge transfer is planned.
SCRUM will be used as a project methodology.
Evolution to a leading / architect role in close coordination with the technical lead in Belgium is in purpose.
