Job Description:

Serves as a contributor to the company’s technology direction and product strategy. The individual will be responsible for evolving concepts into products that deliver to market demand. The individual will work as part of a wider technical team within Belfast who focus on extremely complex technical problems and typically on projects of moderate to high conceptual complexity.

·         BS or MS degree is Computer science or equivalent experience relevant to functional area

·         Demonstrable experience in working at Architect level

·         Knowledge and experience of various operating systems and hardware platforms.  Expert level knowledge and experience of several technical areas such as UNIX system level programming/HTTP/IO subsystems/Scalability/High availability/Network protocols such as IP / TCP.

·         Extensive experience of Object Orientated Programming in C++ and Java

·         Demonstrable strengths in requirements analysis; mobile industry sector knowledge; strategic awareness

·         Strong technical leader able to drive cross functional and departmental teams

·         Proven experience in writing complex technical documentation without significant direction

·         Excellent oral and written communication skills including the ability to formally present 

·         Proven track record of innovation

·         Demonstrated strong levels of initiative and self motivation

·         Expert level of software development and problem solving skills

·         Strong ability to construct and defend a technical position in a rational and reasonable manner

·         Proven experience in working with minimum supervision both independently and in teams

-  Strong organisational, planning and meetings skills would be advantageous.

-  Experience in technical pre-sales support
