Description:

For this positing, we are looking for SW engineers to join us and work on the Intel Media SDK product for a family of Intel core products (e.g. Sandy Bridge, Ivy Bridge, Haswell, etc).

Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:

• Design and develop video codecs (including MPEG2, VC1, H.264, etc.) and advanced video processing algorithms in native GenX assembly language / C /C++, debug their functionalities and integration with Intel Media SDK
• Responsible for implementing the media architecture interface for both Windows/Linux, and supporting the future Windows/Linux graphics architecture
• Performance analysis and optimization for the media driver on various Intel platforms running different operating systems including Win and Linux family
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with software and hardware design/development/validation teams
• Responsible for support the entire product life cycles to deliver world top quality Intel Media SDK 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science degree (a Master of Science degree is preferred) in Computer Science or a similar field
• 3+ years of experience in Software development.
• 5+ years of hands-on C/C++ programming experience
• Expertise in video coding and processing
• Track-proving experience on video codec programming
• Hands-on experience on DXVA/LibVA development
• Multi-core and algorithmic optimization
• Good knowledge of OOP, C/C++
• Linux or UNIX equivalent environment, compilers, software optimization, debugging
• Excellent communication skills; proficient in English (verbal and written) and Russian
• Creativity and ability to work in a fast, multitasking environment
