INNOVECS is building a team for a new product/platform development and looking for Senior Oracle Developer to work on the full time basis in our Kiev office.

THE PROJECT IS:

Project is targeted on Supply Chain domain. Platform is to be developed for selling to 3rd parties as SaaS solution.

Solution will be based on Amazon Cloud platform with Java technology stack for implementation. Complex business logic to be implemented with customizable business processes for different clients. As part of solution will be components for integration with external systems: suppliers from one end and distributors/retailors from another end.

Key non-functional requirements: Performance; Availability; Scalability; Security and data isolation for different clients.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:   

• This developer position will be responsible for detailed design, implementation, performance tuning of our data persistence architecture.
• This involves designing and implementing our database schema and data access system for highly scalable java applications which support complex Supply Chain Management workflows in an agile software development environment.
•  We use a combination of SQL (Oracle & MYSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Apache Cassandra), and Hadoop. 

 OUR EXPECTATIONS:

• 5+ years database/data management design experience
• Working knowledge of relational and NoSQL database technologies will be a plus
• Ability to model complex objects in a relational database
• Ability to develop complex SQL queries
• Extensive experience with performance tuning data management systems
• Experience developing SaaS solutions or software products 
• Enjoy working with new and advance data management technologies 
• Supported complete software lifecycle – requirements analysis, design, development, integration, testing, and support.  

Other Preferred Qualifications: 

• Understanding of Java and java server side technologies including JPA and/or Hibernate 
• Knowledge of software data access design patterns and best practices 
• Experience with large scale databases and data warehouses 
• Experience developing enterprise software products 
• Ability to work in an agile, dynamic team environment. Good time management skills. Ability to communicate with product managers and other stakeholders.
