IBM  i Software Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Design, development, troubleshooting and support of large OSS/BSS application based on IBM  i platform;
• Taking part in solution implementation projects for the world leading MSOs;
• Communicate with technical and business experts from worldwide within the project teams on daily basis;
• Provide expertise and best practices on technical aspects of product development and implementation projects including performance.
• Qualifications:
• University technical education;
• 3+ years experience as IBM i software developer in RPG, RPG ILE, SQL/400, CL/400, QUERY/400, Cobol/400, SeeChange administration;
• Experience in configuration, administration and support of IBM Power System (AS/400, iSeries, System i) platform;
• Good technical English verbal/writing skills;
• Flexibility, initiative, analytical skills.

Additional Requirements:

• Experience of working in OSS/BSS areas for Cable services is a plus;
• Ability to travel within the country and abroad. Initiative in interacting directly with customers on implementation projects.
