Volia currently has a need for a Network Security Administrator in support of the corporate IT&Network Security team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• technical implementation and enforcing national,
• international and corporate security policies and directives.
• boundary protection and vulnerability assessment operations,
• execute time sensitive adjustments to the network security posture to minimize operational risks.
• employ hardware and software tools to enhance the security of the network,
• monitor and partially administer SIEM solution to detect and isolate network intrusions,
• recover compromised systems after attack.
• participate in major technical projects performed within organization as an internal network security consultant,
• perform security acceptance testing prior to putting technical solutions into operation and perform other related duties as assigned.

Ideal Candidate will have:  

• Deep knowledge and practical experience in management and monitoring of various network security components, devices and services.
• Knowledge of modern computer systems, servers setup, modern network management and monitoring concepts, virtualization solutions.
• Ability to recognize network intrusion events and to differentiate false positives through review and analysis of relevant event logs and other sources of information.
• Previous experience in the monitoring/management of firewalls, intrusion detection, log collection and correlation devices and systems, to include Snort, Syslog-ng, Splunk, QRadar and/or ArcSight.   
• Experience with vulnerability identification, performing periodic assessment scans for vulnerabilities and penetration tests using nmap, Nessus, Acunetix, metasploit, MaxPatrol/xSpider and other tools.
• General scripting and programming skills for *nix systems (shell, Perl, Python etc)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Desire and ability to master new technologies
• University degree in telecom or equivalent

Certified Cisco Network Associate (CCNA), CompTIA Security+, other equal or higher level certification.
