On Behalf of RTX Ciklum is looking for Embedded Software Developer.

An open position as embedded developer is open in the area of Internet Of Things. Low energy wireless devices, M2M communication, 6LoWPAN and IPV6 are technologies that are of major importance in the forward strategy for RTX. The team is working on low energy wireless platforms and products using DECT and WiFi technology. An example is the RTX4100 WiFi module:http://www.rtx.dk/Low_power_WiFi_modules-3921.aspx [^] The team is working on protocol middleware (application protocols), applications e.g. integration into various cloud services for sensor applications and test benches. The project team is working closely together with the Advanced Technologies group within RTX Design Services.

Technical Skills:

• The developer must have experience with the C and C++ programming languages, especially for embedded systems. She/he must be able to demonstrate basic analytical skills. The developer should have some understanding of contemporary software platforms, real time systems, event based processing and networking stacks.
• Experience with development on low power wireless silicon is a major advantage. These technologies could be, but not limited to:
• Bluetooth, Bluetooth Low Energy Wi-Fi, 802.11(b/g/n) ANT, ANT+ ZigBee 802.15.4 6LoWPAN, IPv6 Wireless M-bus Experience with low power Microprocessors is a major advantage. These processors could be, but not limited to: ARM Cortex M Texas Instrument MSP430 Atmel AVR 8-bit and 32-bit ST Micro, STM32 8051 Experience with IP networking includes: IPv4, IPv6, IP, TCP, UDP IETF RFC document reading Routing, uni-cast, multi-cast DHCP, ICMP, SIP HTTP, MIME A master degree in engineering or computer science is required. Prior experience is a plus but not mandatory. A new master graduate with good grades and personal drive will equally be considered. Good written and verbal skills in English are a must.

• The software developers must have good social skills and work well in a team. She/he must have drive and motivation, and must show high responsibility for her/his tasks. She/he must be methodical in the approach for problem solving and must have focus on quality of delivered results.
