We are currently seeking talented professionals to work as DB2 Administrator (Code: DB 200) for full time in Kiev office.

Responsibilities for this position will include (but are not limited to):

• Configuration and set up of client server architectures. 
• System management and support. 
• System monitoring, analysis and optimization.

Successful candidates should correspond to the following required competencies / skills:

• Strong knowledge of administration and configuration of DB2 database servers, including
  
  • Installation and upgrade
  • Database Design
  • Backup/Recovery
  • Import/Load/Replication
  • HADR (High Availability Disaster Recovery)
  • Analysis and improvement of SQL queries
• Knowledge of DB2 Connect
• Basic knowledge of operating system, Red Hat Linux and AIX
• Scripting (e.g. bash, ksh)
• Experience with Quest software (such as Toad Spotlight) is a plus.
• Good command of English.
• Service oriented professional attitude.
