Become a core member of engineering team working on  development of scalable, highly available applications for modern  servers. We work with  Hadoop, HBase, Hive, Cassandra and always looking for other frameworks to fit  the  requirements.

Responsibilities:

•    Develop  java-based applications. Analyze, maintain and improve CI processes
•    Design  and implement map-reduce jobs, HBase/Cassandra tables schemas and Hive queries
•    Analyze  and improve performance of existing applications
•    Communicate with clients and make architectural suggestions

Required Skills and Experience:

•     Deep  understanding of Java platform and strong Java programming experience
•     Hands-on  experience with Linux
•     Good  understanding of software reliability principles and distributed systems
•     Strong   experience with at least one of NoSQL databases 
•     Hands-on experience with Hadoop and Hive
•     Strong experience with SVN, git, maven
•     Hands-on  experience with scripting languages (python, bash, perl) is a plus
•     Good  understanding of data mining algorithms is a plus
•     Hands-on  experience with web applications is a plus
