SITA is looking for Specialist/Engineer Service & Infrastructure Operations to extend current IT support team on Sheremetyevo Airport.


  • Place of work: Sheremetyevo Airport
  • Work Schedule: 2/2 08:00 – 20:00 shifts, possible out of regular working hours phone calls, remote problem resolution involvement.

Job Purpose:

  • Provide site operation administration and maintenance management for systems and products.
  • Manage configuration processing, component installation, software installation and modification.
  • Provide a first line troubleshooting service for customers ensuring that all systems operate with maximum efficiency.
  • Coordinate 2nd Level support with the Remote Management Centers (RMC) in Montreal, San Jose, Singapore.
  • Manage and perform local staging and installation of all workstations and peripherals across the airport.
  • Assist SITA multinational installation teams and third party consultants and installation specialist.
  • Administer ATI specific applications delivered by SITA.
  • Work with the local Customer IT team.
  • Coordinate customer related on-site activities, including application testing, acceptance testing and installation planning.


 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement Zero Downtime customer support procedures
  • Carry out the tasks assigned by the RMC (new software installation, software upgrades, subsystem integration and configuration modifications).
  • Perform on-site BETA testing of application or platform software as required.
  • Administration (AD, GPOs, DNS, DHCP, DFS, MSCS, IIS, Backup, Other Services) of Windows 2003 Servers (10+) and Windows XP workstations (500+), User Administration (creation of profiles, policies, login scripts, user menu, templates, batch scripts etc.)
  • Administration and troubleshooting (VLANs, ACLs, Routing) of CISCO network devices (ASA5520, C3750, C2960).
  • Basic Oracle DBs Administration (Backup, SQL Scripts, basic troubleshooting).
  • Other day-to-day site operations tasks.


 

Education & Qualifications:

  • University/Institute Degree in Electronics engineering, Telecommunication, Radio engineering, Information Technologies


Experience:

  • 3+ years experience as a Systems Specialist/ Engineer / Administrator responsible for support activities of LAN equipment, Windows Domain Networks, corporate IT systems.
  • Delivering SLAs to external customers experience.


Knowledge & Skills:

  • Fluent spoken / written English and fluent Russian language.
  • Minimum CCNT level network technologies knowledge (VLANs, Routing protocols, ACLs).
  • Good Windows 2003 Server Service knowledge (AD, GPOs, DNS, DHCP, DFS, MSCS, IIS).
  • DBMS (Oracle, Microsoft) basic architecture knowledge, ability to read/write SQL Scripts is a must.
  • VMware Infrastructure experience is desirable.
  • Basic understanding of IBM Web Sphere MQ and Message Broker functionality.
  • Ability to support, troubleshoot, analyse and investigate in multi-vendor environment.
  • Knowledge of ITIL and service management practices and procedures preferred.
  • Ability to analyse, draw conclusions and create solutions to customer's moderately complex problems.
  • Ability to work under pressure and multi-task.
  • Ability to use a team approach to solve problems when appropriate
