Project description:

Our customer provides electronic information services and customized applications to professional investment and business. Like real time price information system, stock quotes, exchange rates and other financial content, news delivery, TV images, companies background information and narrowcasting. The systems are able to handle 400,000 messages per second and that during the many hours while the financial markets are open. The winning advantages of the software include excellent quality and uncompromised usability.

 A successful candidate will work close with senior engineers in Netherlands within one cohesive team and will be responsible for a full set of software engineering activities. We expect closest relationship and seamless integration between nearshore team and customer in-house people, whose motto is that “First of all, software engineering must be fun, and only like this an excellent product can be produced”.

Requirements

• Experience occupying a senior developer or project leader position for at least 1 year
• OOAD, design patterns, architectural patterns
• Profound knowledge of .NET technologies (web development), minimum 3 years of work experience
• Knowledge of RDBMS, SQL
• Good client-side (web browser) programming skills (JavaScript, HTML, CSS)
• Practical experience with well-implemented Scrum and XP
• Upper-intermediate or higher level of English, excellent communication skills
• Special attention to software quality and usability

Preferred skills

• Experience with MVC3
• Experience with LINQ to SQL
