SAP Developer – SAP Support team member

A fantastic opportunity exists for a motivated and ambitious SAP Developer to join a young established team of SAP professionals, providing SAP Support for internal SAP systems of Deloitte CIS. Your role is to help SAP consultants to deliver their tasks by doing necessary investigations and changes in the SAP Enterprise Portal 7.0. The role includes both project and support activities in the Live SAP environments within the following SAP modules: FI, SD, MM, HR, PS.

Your key accountabilities:

• Processing of support requests in FI, SD, MM, HR, PS modules passed by consultants, doing bug fixes and complex error resolution according to Incident Management processes;
• Participation in project activities in the same modules by implementing requirements from technical specifications from consultants according to Change Management process and agreed time schedule;
• Update functional and technical specification with important implementation details thus guarantying further supportability of solution;
• Input and coordination of SAP System testing;
• Preparation to Go-live of the changes according to pre-defined schedule;
• Supervising and training junior team members.

In order be successful in this position you need to be experienced SAP Programmer, ready to learn and apply new knowledge into practice, easily finding common language with SAP consultants.

The knowledge and experience in the following areas is required:

• Java Web Dynpro as a key instrument
• SAP Enterprise Portal knowledge
  • iView
  • Universal Work List (UWL)
  • RFC and JCo
  • Content management
  • Integration with external SAP systems (ERP, BI)
  • Employee/Manager self-service
  • Internal server dump and trace analysis
• ABAP knowledge in the level required to work with BAPI for Java and ABAP stack integration
• ABAP debugging of standard and custom code
• Good level of English language (mainly for reading and writing documentation)
• SAP Workflow knowledge will be a significant advantage

Business trips are very unlikely. The successful candidate must be innovative but structured and still maintain a strong delivery focus, oriented to longer-term collaboration. This is standard office hour’s work, but some flexibility is required to stay out of office hours during major Go-Live events and in case of critical incidents.
