What We're Doing:

 We are building a modern software platform for legitimate intelligent email delivery and management. We send email for medium and large businesses, mostly in the US and Europe, and help them keep track of what happens when they send those emails.

The platform we're building is a beautiful blend of some exciting components,

• modern API development: allowing our customers to hook into everything we've got.
• massive data storage and processing: keeping track of all data flowing through our network, processing it, and learning from it.
• cool Interfaces: built on top of our own API and using our collected data to present real-time and complicated information to end-users.
• serious Message Delivery: We send a lot of email. More than you'd imagine. And we're getting very good at understanding how to do it right.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Minimum, you are expected to take over the packaging, and set up a system for us to effectively do development:
• setting up staging and test environments,
• continuous integration,
• deployment scripts, etc. You will be a part of the development organization, working closely with the NOC. However, your direct manager should be the Development Director, to ensure that your top priority is making sure the development objectives are met.
• If you are senior enough, you will be responsible for the
• entire development server management,
• entire organization and deployment of our software.
• system Architecture ,
• configuration and organization of software on our servers.

What We Require from You :

• Deep Linux System Administration experience
• Experience in interacting with and enabling the development team
• Understanding of the development lifecycle Understanding of the needs of a serious production environment
• Experience with both Redhat and Debian based distributions as a production platform
• Knowledge of packaging both RPMs and Debs
• Familiarity with Continuous Integration, Version Control (git, svn, etc.), Issue Tracking (JIRA, Bugzilla, etc.)
• System scripting experience w/ both shell scripting and at least one script language (Perl, Python, Ruby, etc.)

• You should be a self-starting and highly motivated individual who wants to win in competitive situations
• You are excellent in communication, presentation and listening in English.
• Secondary languages would be a plus.
