EPAM Systems (www.epam.com), one of the largest Software Engineering Services Companies in European IT market, CMMI Level 4 certified, is looking for Middle/Senior Software Engineer to work on the challenging project for the Major Investment Bank in its Kyiv Office.

Role involves being a part of the Front-office team who develop integration solutions based on infrastructure components (provided by world’s largest software vendors), such as

•  IBM WebSphere MQ (extremely reliable messaging middleware)
•  IBM WebSphere Message Broker and Transformation Extender (clustered runtime infrastructure and design-time IDE’s based on Eclipse)
•  Oracle 10g 

Responsibilities:

•  Route messages (based on content or static configuration)
•  Transform messages to various formats
•  Switch transport protocols (i.e. asynchronous message into web-service call)
•  Perform message aggregation/decomposing/enrichment/etc
•  Interact with external repositories
•  Respond to events or errors
•  Invoke/implement rest/web services
•  Validate message content or conduct various checks
•  Encrypt/decrypt/sign messages and/or their parts

Requirements:

•  Object Oriented Programming and Service Oriented Architecture concepts;
•  messaging concepts;
•  transaction principles;
•  RDBMS concepts;
•  XML-based technologies stack and Web-Services basics;
•  source control systems and configuration management process;
•  Eclipse development platform;

As a plus:

•  Java (SE, EE): JDBC, Log4J , JMS, EJB;
•  SQL/ESQL;
•  Unix like systems (AIX/Linux/FreeBSD);
•  XML/XSD/xPath/XSLT;
•  SWIFT/EDIFACT/COBOL;
•  HTTPS, SSL.
