API Maintenance Systems develops, markets and supports maintenance management software. Maintenance management software is used by many leading companies world-wide in a variety of industries and organizations to maintain high-value capital assets such as plants, facilities and equipment.   API Maintenance Systems is a international organisation with offices in Denmark, Sweden, Germany, Belgium, Malaysia and China. Company language is English. We have development resource in our offices in Denmark and in Ukraine (at Ciklum). The basic development/programming team is 10 people – 5 in Denmark and 5 in Ukraine.  The application is currently made in OpenEdge ABL (4GL language) with a few exception – like a PDA a solution and a simple Web access – these ‘component’ is made with .NET. The plan is – within the next couple of years - to change the front end to be based on a ‘pure’ Web interface. Focus for the first couple of years will be OpenEdge based development. Profile English in writing and speaking Master or bachelor degree in IT - software oriented area

Working experience (1 year or more) with one or more of the following program languages/frameworks: 

• Progress (OpenEdge)
•  .NET framework 
• ASP.NET
• .NET Compact framework
•  C# 
• Knowledge/working experience with N-tier, application server, web service, SOA 
• Database knowledge – MS SQL Server, Oracle or OpenEdge/Progress 
• Integration knowledge program-to-program, application-to-application, business-to-business

Other – nice to have – specific product competences:

• Install shield 
• Crystal Report 
• Eclipse 
• Citrix & MS Terminal server 
• XML 
• OLE (ActiveX) on MS Office and MS Project 
• MS Server – administration & policy setup ERP and/or financial system knowledge/working experience (SAP, ….)
