Responsibilities:

●      Support and continuously enhance software development infrastructure: continuous integration and delivery, databases, cloud services, systems monitoring, etc.

●      Work as a member in a team of 3-10 software engineers

●      Understand and evaluate engineering tasks, commit to results, develop and deliver on time

●      Track activities in project management tools, report and document

●      Collaborate with distributed team of developers, testers, analysts and IT experts in USA and Russia

Requirements:

●      Excellent programming skills in Java

●      Experience in Unix/Linux OS shell scripting and coreutils

●      Experience in scripting on any of Ruby, Python, Perl or similar

●      Understanding principles of version control systems like Git, Subversion, Mercurial

●      Desire and ability for quick learning of new tools and technologies

●      Good communication skills and technical English

Desired:

●      CI servers configuration (Hudson/Jenkins, Cruise Control).

●      Knowledge of network protocols and services (TCP/IP, SSH, FTP, HTTP, DNS, SMTP, Apache, ftp, dns, nfs, vpn, ldap, mail)

●      Deployment or configuration automation experience (Chef, Puppet are treated as a plus).

●      J2EE servers acquaintance (JBoss, Apache Tomcat, Jetty, Oracle Weblogic, IBM WebSphere, SpringSource dm Server, etc)

●      Build and Software project management tools (Maven, Ant, etc)

●      Virtual Machines configuration and usage (Xen, VMWare, VirtualBox, KVM, OpenVZ)

●      Database administration (DB2, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL)

●      Masters' or Engineer’s degree in one of: Engineering, Computer Science, Physics or Mathematics (or equivalent education/experience)
