Currently we are looking for skilled Senior Ruby Back-End Developer for our client.

What will I do? ("benefits"):
• Work with founders to design and build back-end components for our gaming and betting products
• Code services in Ruby that talk to other services, databases and messaging systems
• Work with open source technologies
• Be involved in everything from concept and architecture to implementation and deployment
• Be an integral and important part of the company
• Join a startup team of top-notch engineers who previously worked at Google and Microsoft, and have computer science degrees from MIT, Cornell, and Brown

What skills do I need? ("qualifications")
• Excellent and clean programming skills in Ruby, Python, or Java
• Experience building scalable, service-oriented back-ends (REST, JSON, XML)
• Solid understanding of the full web stack (e.g. HTTP/S, cookies, headers, caching)
• Strong knowledge of database systems (SQL, NoSQL)
• Ability to learn quickly and solve problems independently
• Attitude and energy to thrive in a startup environment (challenges, high risk/high reward)
• Disciplined approach to testing and quality assurance
• Team player
• A plus: Experience working with and deploying to Linux
• A plus: Proficiency in Ruby and its frameworks (Sinatra, Ruby on Rails, RSpec)
• A plus: Experience with our software stack (MySQL/PostgreSQL, Puppet/Chef, Nginx, Git)
• A plus: Experience with messaging/queueing systems (AMQP)
• A plus: Practice in agile software development (Scrum)
